Kansas champs: See which teams played for (and won) boys soccer titles Saturday
The 2024 Kansas KSHSAA boys high school state soccer championships are taking place Saturday at the Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita.
The Class 4-1A final was up first, and it featured a pair of hometown Wichita squads: Rose Hill, which shocked Bishop Miege in the semifinals, and Trinity Academy.
Trinity (17-4-0) emerged victorious with a 4-3 win over Rose Hill in the state final, while Baldwin beat Miege 2-1 in the game for third place.
Up next Saturday was the Class 5 final, featuring unbeaten Blue Valley Southwest (20-0-0) vs. Maize South (18-2-0). That match was scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
And just a bit later Saturday, Shawnee Mission East (18-1-1) was taking on unbeaten Dodge City (20-0-0) for the Class 6 (largest schools) title.
That match was slated for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
