Joss Stone has revealed she is expecting her first child with her partner Cody, a US musician.
The singer shared her news on her podcast A Cuppa Happy although did admit she had fears over giving birth.
Speaking with food writer Ella Mills who is expecting her second child, Stone said: "Guess what? I am going to have a little baby! I am so excited to talk to you because I don’t know many pregnant women."
Disclosing how far along she is, the 33-year-old continued: "I am week 17 and I just stopped being sick all the time. I’m feeling OK. Isn’t it mad when you’ve got someone growing inside of you? Jeez."
"My boyfriend kept saying to me, 'pain is temporary'. Temporary, it is temporary! Oh my God it is horrible! Leave me alone! I am just going to cry!
"I woke up in the middle of the night – randomly – and I was like: 'Oh my god I am really scared!' I just got really terrified of having to push it out," she said of her labour worries.
While the Super Duper Love hitmaker keeps her relationship out of the spotlight, Cody has featured in several of her Instagram posts.
Stone launched her podcast, which sees her discuss the concept of happiness with her guests, earlier this year.
While appearing on Good Morning Britain to promote the venture back in August, Stone caused mild controversy as she gave tips on how to achieve happiness amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking from the Bahamas at the time, the star was criticised for being "tone deaf".
