Josh Polak Commits To Minnesota-Duluth

Spruce Grove Saints forward Josh Polak has committed to Minnesota-Duluth, it was announced earlier this week.

Polak, who hails from Strathcona County, Alta., is in his first full season with the Saints, having put up 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in 25 games.

Drafted by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the ninth round of the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft, Polak made the jump to juniors after playing for Shawinigan Lake School U18 Prep in 2023-24. Through 30 regular season games, he collected 21 goals and 53 points.

While Polak looked solid in his brief stint with the Saints to end last season, he has been outstanding this year. Dynamic with the puck and almost always in the right position, it caught the Bulldogs attention and he will be a solid add when he steps foot in Minnesota.
