Josh Mori Commits To UMass Lowell

Josh Mori, a defenseman for the Edmonton Oil Kings, announced his commitment to UMass Lowell on Monday.

Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Mori has recorded a goal and 16 assists for the Oil Kings in 37 regular season games.

After spending his first three WHL seasons with the Portland Winterhawks, tallying 34 points (six goals, 28 assists) in 162 regular season games, Mori was traded to the Oil Kings for a 2025 third-round pick.

Expected to make the jump to college hockey for the 2025-26 season, Mori possesses a solid two-way game that can excel on the penalty kill.
