Jonathan Kapageridis Commits To Vermont
Cobourg Cougars defenseman Jonathan Kapageridis has committed to Vermont, it was announced earlier this week.
A product of Vaughan, Ont., Kapageridis is in his first full season with the Cougars where he has put up five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 18 games. Prior to making the jump to the OJHL, Kapageridis spent last season playing for the Don Mills Flyers U18 where he had 12 points in 29 games.
Drafted by the Sarnia Sting in the first round of the 2024 OHL U18 Priority Selection, Kapageridis could potentially sign with the Sting in the future given the new rule change.
A smart, smooth skating offensive defenseman, Kapageridis is a solid get for the Catamounts and should only continue to get better.
