John Wall called J.J. Barea 'a little midget,' and the Mavericks veteran stood tall
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall and Dallas Mavericks veteran J.J. Barea exchanged words in the fourth quarter of their game on Monday night, and then did so again through the media afterward.

John Wall called JJ Barea “just a little midget trying to get mad.” Barea responds by saying he finally has someone in the NBA he doesn’t like. “I don’t think his teammates like him, either.”

That’s right: Wall called Barea — listed at 6 feet by the Mavs — “a little midget,” which, according to Little People of America, is a derogatory term for people with dwarfism. So, yeah, Wall probably should get more creative with his insults, as Barea did in making a timely reference to the Wizards’ in-fighting.
Wall revealed recently that the team aired its grievances in a meeting both he and Bradley Beal described as bordering on “pointless,” especially since it did little to curb their slide in the standings.
“We had our team meeting,” Wall told The Washington Post’s Candace Buckner. “A couple guys took it the negative way and it hurt our team. Instead of taking it in a positive way like we did in the past and using it to build our team up, it kind of set us back a little bit.”
So, Barea won the battle of the barbs and the game, 98-75.
