John Stout Commits To Wisconsin
Madison Capitols defenseman John Stout has committed to the University of Wisconsin, it was reported earlier this week.
Stout, who recently decommitted from Minnesota-Duluth, is in his first full USHL season where he has scored three goals and added five assists for eight points in 17 games.
A product of Minnetonka, Minn., Stout split time last season between the Capitols and Minnetonka High. Across a combined 43 games, he collected eight goals and 25 assists for 33 points.
Set to join the Badgers next fall, Stout has all the skills required to make the jump to the next level. Solid in both ends, a smart puck mover and someone who makes those around him better, Stout should fit right in at Wisconsin.
