Joe Wicks feeling 'confused and lost' after end of PE lessons

Joe Wicks has opened up on feeling "flat and low" following the end of his daily PE lessons.

The 33-year-old live streamed a morning workout for children every weekday for months before the lessons finally came to an end on 22 July.

Posting a video to his Instagram stories mid-way through an exercise session on Monday, the father-of-two explained how much better he felt after working out.

"So, I’m halfway through my workout, I cannot explain how much better I feel, emotionally, mentally. I’ve been having a real kind of flat few days.

"I’ve been thinking so much about PE With Joe and that whole impact of what I was doing. I had so much purpose, I was so driven and focused. I knew what I was doing, I was making people feel good and I was creating so much impact and that’s really when I’m at my happiest.

"Because that's gone I'm feeling a bit confused and lost but I know I'm going to regain my energy," he shared.

He wrote alongside the video that he had been "feeling so flat and low the last few days" and "very demotivated".

When he announced ‘PE With Joe’ was coming to a close, Wicks said he would be taking time out for "a little break".

He’s been spending quality time with his wife Rosie Jones and their two young children Indie, two, and Marley, eight months, with the family recently moving home too.

The sessions ran for 18 weeks and Wicks gained over 80 million views from around the globe on his videos.
