Jimmy Johnson says Dallas Cowboys will go on a winning streak that will provide false hope

Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson said the team would go on a wining streak ahead of Thanksgiving Day clash with the New York Giants.

Former Super Bowl Champion Terry Bradshaw was on FOX’s pregame show on Thursday and explained how the Dallas Cowboys could play their way back into playoff contention.

Bradshaw said the Cowboys would be back in the postseason hunt if they won their next three games against the New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals, and Carolina Panthers.

Ex-Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson said Micah Parsons’ return should help the Cowboys return to their winning ways at home over the ensuing weeks and that he believed the team could win those games, but that it wouldn’t matter in the long term.

“I’m just saying they’re gonna get on a run. They’re gonna win today [against the New York Giants], they’re gonna win next week, they’re gonna win the week after that, they’re gonna get on a run and they’re gonna have a little bit of false hope,” said Johnson.

Michael Strahan agreed with Johnson saying it was a little too late for the Cowboys to become contenders.
