We wondered last week if Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh worked out in khakis. We have to wonder no more.

Harbaugh posted a picture to Twitter of himself going for a run in khakis Thursday to promote awareness for colon cancer.

Does Harbaugh actually run in khakis? He apparently does. In an interview with GQ published Tuesday (that coincided with the release of his peanuts commercial), Harbaugh touted the many things he does while wearing the pleated pants.

Do your game day khakis differ from your going out to dinner khakis, or your lounge khakis?
No. Just pretty much the same one. That’s the best part about them. You can go anywhere and be dressed appropriately: game day, or church, or out to dinner. The movies. I can workout in my khakis. And do. They’re similar to sweatpants. Coaching, [they’re] great because they’ve got pockets to put your pens and scripts. Chewing gum. Et cetera.

So you’ll go running in those?
Yeah. If I work out, I stay with the khakis.

And lounging?
Mhm. All-purpose.

Harbaugh also estimated he saved between 30-45 minutes each day by wearing khakis because he didn’t have to decide what to wear. Uh, who spends that long deciding what pants to wear?
