WINZ-AM 940 radio host Andy Slater first reported the news.

According to a police report obtained by NJ.com, Anderson drove as fast as 105 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone before running two red lights and eluding the officer in pursuit at 2:15 a.m. on Friday. Once stopped and arrested, Anderson allegedly initially refused to get into the back of the police car.

The report said Anderson made vulgar sexual threats against Officer Jonathan B. Hennessy’s wife:

“He continued [to] make other verbal threats towards my family,” the report added. “Based on his statements it was clear that he intended to sexually assault my wife. He also began to brag about how much money he has and how all I was doing was trying to … ‘Ruin his fun.'”

Anderson was also arrested on resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of justice charges this past May at a concert in Miami. The arresting officer was later relieved of his duties for conduct unbecoming. Anderson’s trial for that incident was postponed to March 19, per ESPN’s Rich Cimini.

An undrafted free agent out of Temple, Anderson as a viable option for the Jets, hauling in 42 receptions for 587 yards and a pair of touchdowns over eight starts and 16 appearances as a rookie in 2016. He increased those numbers to 63 catches, 941 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
