Jessica Chastain And Her Husband Were Destined To Be Together, Says Astrology

ICYDK, Jessica Chastain has won plenty of awards for her roles on the silver screen, but now, she’s hoping to take home her first Tony Award. The star of a modern reinvention of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House earned herself a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play.

And while fans can for sure expect the The Eyes of Tammy Faye actress to stun with her red carpet look, they can also look forward to seeing her husband (and number one cheerleader) Gian Luca Passi de Presposulo by her side.

The Zero Dark Thirty star and fashion executive have been married since 2017 and now share two children. The pair first met in Paris, France—the City of Love—in January 2012 on the same day the Academy Award-winning actress earned her first Oscar nomination for her role in The Help, per Us Weekly. In an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan in December 2017, The Martian actress referred to it as “probably the best day I ever had,” according to the publication.

Passi de Presposulo, an Italian nobleman who works for luxury fashion brand Moncler, even changed the Ava star’s mind about marriage. “I never wanted to get married,” the Golden Globe award-winning actress said during an interview with WSJ Magazine. “When I first met my husband, he knew that marriage wasn’t something I was interested in. And then as we got to know each other, the idea of marriage shifted for me. There are some things worth celebrating—and he’s worth celebrating.”

It’s easy to see why these two fell in love after that one night in Paris, at least according to the stars. “Jessica’s Sun is in Aries, and Gian’s [Sun] is in Scorpio,” says intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang. “Both of these signs are ruled by Mars, and that gives this relationship a spark and passion.”

That’s not all, though. Lang analyzed Jessica and Gian’s birth charts to see what their astrological compatibility reveals about the nature of their marriage. And let’s just say their love for one another is nothing short of inspiring (uh, #relationshipgoals).

Jessica and Gian can help each other fulfill their life purpose, thanks to the Sun and North Node.

Jessica’s Sun is at the bendings (or 90-degree square point) between Gian’s North Node—a destiny point that determines where you’re meant to go in life—in Cancer, and South Node—a destiny point that represents the lessons and wisdom you were born with—in Capricorn, explains Lang. Translation: “This is a destined relationship.”

Jessica is helping Gian fulfill his life purpose of having a family and taking on the role of a parent, as indicated by his Cancer North Node, says Lang. (FYI: Cancer rules the fourth house of family, foundations, and the home.) “Her Sun shines a light on the challenges he must overcome in reaching his destiny, like issues balancing work and family life, which is common with this nodal axis,” Lang adds.

Meanwhile, Gian’s Saturn (the planet of responsibilities and authority) and Pluto (the planet of transformation) in Libra are conjunct Jessica’s North Node, also in Libra, Lang notes. “He offers her the depth and security she needs to feel purposeful,” Lang says. Plus, “her North Node in Libra indicates a life path aimed at understanding true partnership within a marriage.”

But they may face power struggles, due to Venus and Saturn’s influence.

Node compatibility may point to the relationship having a purpose and being fated, yet it doesn’t always mean the relationship will be easy, says Lang. Jessica and Gian’s relationship is one of constant growth, she explains. They likely “stretch one another to their limits and beyond.”

Plus, Jessica’s Venus (the planet of love and relationships) in Aries is in opposition to Gian’s Saturn and Pluto. This shows that commitment and stability are themes in their marriage, but so is hard work, says Lang. For Jessica, the relationship might even seem laborious at times because “she may feel like he takes things too seriously,” Lang explains. And with her Sun, Mercury (the planet of communication), and Venus in Aries, Jessica is someone who’s fiercely independent and needs to follow her own path, Lang adds.

Their power struggles may prove challenging, especially when Jessica’s away filming or doesn’t have as much time to commit to the relationship. During these moments, it may be easy for Gian to worry or “for there to be trust issues,” says Lang. In order to solidify their commitment and provide each other with a sense of security when they’re separated, they must “talk through their emotions in a way that breeds trust,” she says.

Because of the Sun and Uranus, they keep each other on their toes.

These two have “anything but an ordinary partnership,” says Lang. “Even if it looks that way on the outside, they likely feel far from the mainstream.” Why? Well, it’s all thanks to Uranus’ influence.

“Jessica brings out the adventurer in Gian,” says Lang. Her Uranus (the planet of rebellion and innovation) in Scorpio is conjunct his Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, showing that these two may often have inspiring and exciting conversations, Lang adds. The way they bounce ideas off of each other is nothing short of magic.

Additionally, Jessica’s Sun is in a fiery square aspect with Gian’s Mars (the planet of action and drive) in Capricorn. Read: “There’s a lot of passion between these two,” says Lang. This aspect is also a strong indicator of sexual chemistry, she adds.

The influence of Uranus also shows that this is a very cause-oriented partnership, says Lang. “They may enjoy giving back and being involved in politics or humanitarian causes.” Jessica and Gian have a shared interest in philanthropy sparked by their curiosity and passion for life, she explains.

On stage and off, these two are partners in life and in love.
