Jensen departs on loan

Aberdeen defender Richard Jensen has joined Danish top-flight club Vejle Boldklub on loan.

Jensen, 28, joined the Dons in 2023 and has made 41 appearances for the club, but leaves in search of regular minutes.

"Richard wants to play regularly and at the moment his opportunities here have been limited," said manager Jimmy Thelin.

"His application and attitude in training have been first class since we arrived, but Richard recognises that he won’t start every game and as the professional that he is, he wants to be playing competitive football consistently."
