JoJo Siwa looks 10 years older after getting a drastic makeover: 'I would make fun of me'

With each passing day, fans grow more and more eager to see former “Dance Moms” star JoJo Siwa shed her innocent image for something more grown-up.

The 17-year-old is known for her big personality, high ponytail and massive bows. She’s dyed her hair brown and ditched the typical updo in the past, but her followers are hungry for more.

Well, on August 21, beauty YouTuber James Charles gave her a “full makeover” on his channel, and the results were shocking in the best way.

Charles removed her signature glitter makeup, and even watching her go from all-done-up to au naturel was revolutionary. He also said they’ve been working on this collaboration since February 2018.

The two chatted about their very different pasts, their fan bases and the criticism they’ve received in the past.

“I’m a giant toddler and I have a receding hairline, so I would make fun of me too,” Siwa said, poking fun at herself.

As Charles finished up the transformation, Siwa said he did a “wonderful job,” but added that it wasn’t her style at all.

“Obviously it’s not me, I mean, you know how I showed up here in sparkles and bright pink and neon and rainbow, but it is really pretty,” she confessed. “I feel like a different version. I feel like I’m Joelle right now.”

Fans predictably loved her new look.

“I need to be on this level of flexing lmao,” one user said in the comments.

“She doesn’t even look like JoJo in the end! James is literally a god,” another wrote.

In return, Siwa gave Charles a makeover in her own style. It’s only fair, after all.
