Running back Jamaal Charles was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday, and he may be calling it a career.

Charles, who has been in the league for 11 seasons, posted a farewell post on Instagram on Monday, hinting that he will officially retire.

“It probably was my last chance putting on a jersey again,” Charles wrote.

The 31-year-old has been used minimally by the Jaguars this season, only recording seven yards on six carries over two games. The longtime Kansas City Chiefs running back is a four-time Pro Bowler and holds an average of 5.4 yards per carry, the highest for a running back in NFL history.

Charles’ last true full season as a starter was in 2014, where he started 15 games for the Kansas City Chiefs. He recorded 1,033 yards and nine touchdowns on 206 carries that season. Charles spent last season as a backup for the Denver Broncos, where he had 296 yards on 69 carries and one touchdown.
