Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey hurts hand, says he won't play on Sunday
All of a sudden, the Jacksonville Jaguars are dealing with a pretty significant injury.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who could land on this season’s All-Pro team with Patrick Peterson of the Arizona Cardinals, hurt his hand in practice on Friday. Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com and John Reid of the Florida Times Union reported Ramsey said he won’t be able to play against the Cardinals on Sunday.
Jalen Ramsey says he is not playing Sunday because of hand injury in which team lists him as questionable

Just asked Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey if he is going to be able to play Sunday against Arizona and he said no.

Telling reporters you won’t play on Sunday isn’t legally binding, so we’ll see if Ramsey was overreacting or if he really won’t play against Arizona. He’s listed as questionable. The injury is especially odd because Friday practices are generally light (DiRocco said Ramsey “jammed his hand going for the ball”).
The Jaguars are in great shape in the AFC South. They lead the Titans by a game in the standings and have an easy schedule the rest of the way. But if Ramsey misses time, that’s a big blow to a defense that is carrying the team this season.
