'I've been waiting for this moment for so long,' admits Moan
Moan was brought in from North East rivals Sunderland Women having won both the FA Women's Championship Golden Glove and Player of the Season awards last term.
While United's number 13 made her competitive debut for the Magpies away to London City Lionesses on the opening day of the current campaign, the one she's really been waiting for is this weekend's clash with Sheffield United Women, when she will finally get to experience the Kingston Park atmosphere.
"I've been waiting for this moment for so long," Moan admitted. "Of course, making my debut was special, but it's going to be great playing at Kingston Park.
"For me, I've been looking from the outside in and you can see the support that Newcastle United have had as a whole.
"So to finally get to experience it first-hand against Sheffield United is going to be amazing."
United's away supporters more than played their part in helping London City set a new home league record attendance last time out, and now a packed-out Kingston Park awaits the Lasses.
Walking out to a sea of black and white shirts will be a sight to behold for Moan and her team-mates, and Newcastle's shot-stopper is itching to get going after having a taste of what the Geordies are like on the road.
"Seeing how many of our fans travelled down to Bromley was incredible to see," she told newcastleunited.com.
"We could hear them from the very first kick, so you can only imagine what they're going to be like for a home game."
Clean sheets are what Moan thrives on, having kept 12 in this division last season, but she knows that the team comes before any personal accolades.
Moan has high standards for herself on and off the pitch and is willing to give everything for Newcastle United.
"I just want to do my best for the team in every single game," Moan added.
"I never want to come away from a game thinking I could've done more on the pitch. I always want to give my all for the club."
