Iowa State kicker Cole Netten had a rough start to the 2015 season.

Then a junior, Netten began the year making just seven of his first 12 kicks in the Cyclones opening five contests. He also missed an extra point a few weeks later. All the while, fans gave him grief on Twitter.

He didn’t forget.

Netten rebounded later in the year, making his final seven field goals. And in 2016, Netten emerged as an All-Big 12 selection, finishing third in the entire country in field goal percentage: 94.1 (16/17).

To commemorate his turnaround and his haters, he posted a hilarious video to his Twitter account.

Well played, Cole. Well played.
