Iowa State cornerback Brian Peavy spent his Thanksgiving allegedly doing some spray painting.

The Cyclone defender was arrested Thursday night after Ames police were called to a report of possible vandalism. From the Des Moines Register:

Ames Police Department Sgt. Christine Crippen said police responded to a call around 5:06 p.m. regarding possible vandalism taking place in a skate park in Ames.

Police discovered Peavy and another male spray-painting underneath a bridge near the park. Peavy and the other male ran when approached by police. Peavy was caught while the other male escaped.

Peavy posted bond later Thursday evening. He was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

The alleged vandalism comes a day before Iowa State is set to travel to Kansas State for the team’s regular season finale on Saturday. Peavy is a key defender for the Cyclones; he’s posted 75 total tackles, six tackles for loss and has grabbed two interceptions.
