Celia Barquin Arozamena’s initials will be on the back of Iowa State and Akron players’ helmets on Saturday.

Per the Iowa State Daily, both teams will wear helmet decals honoring the slain Iowa State golfer found dead on a golf course in Ames on Monday.

Arozamena’s body was found after golfers discovered her golf bag in the fairway by itself. Her body was pulled from a pond on the course and police said she was assaulted before she was killed by Collin Daniel Richards.

Richards is charged with murder and being held on $5 million bond. He has a history of violence and was living in an area near the course. Arozamena had gone to play a round on Monday morning.

Arozamena was going to be on the field at halftime of Saturday’s game to be honored as Iowa State’s female athlete of the year. Instead, the game is a memorial. The Daily said the school’s marching band will form her initials during its performance at halftime and there will be a video tribute to her before the game. Fans are also being asked to wear yellow to the game.

FCS school Northern Iowa is also paying tribute to Arozamena. The FCS school, whose colors are purple and yellow, is also encouraging fans to wear yellow to its home opener on Saturday.
