"It's massive for us to bounce back after the defeat midweek against Newcastle. Our away form hasn't been up to scratch so it was a big performance for us today and a great win."
On recovering from a six-game goal drought, Watkins added: "I am always capable of going on a run. It's just about the mindset and the belief - belief that my team-mates are going to give me the ball like they did today, then I have got to finish the opportunities that I get."
On the importance of bouncing back from Newcastle defeat: "We needed it massively. Football is very fickle. We could have gone 17 points ahead of Newcastle. They drew today then we have won and the gap changes again. It changes very quickly. Really happy with our response and we now push on and hopefully can go on a good FA Cup run."
