Hunter hoping for improved Hearts performance against Spartans

Defender Georgia Hunter wants a much-improved performance from Hearts against Spartans on Sunday after a nail-biting win when the sides last met.

Hearts were 2-1 down at half-time against their city rivals in October and it wasn't until the 95th minute that they found the winner in a seven-goal thriller.

This time round fifth-place Hearts are aiming to make it six games unbeaten, while second-bottom Spartans are seeking a first league victory in 11.

“We always look forward to playing Spartans," Hunter said. "We know they will be aggressive and competitive.

"Going off the last game, where it ended 4-3 to us with a last-minute winner, we know it will be a close game.

"We hope its not like that this time and we put on a much better performance and come away with the three points.”
