Hull sack Tim Walter after just 18 games in charge
Hull have sacked coach Tim Walter after just 18 games following Tuesday night's defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
That loss leaves the Tigers in 22nd place having picked up just 15 points all season.
Walter joined the Humberside club in the summer with a real pedigree in German football.
The 49-year-old had stints at Holstein Kiel and Stuttgart before impressing in three years at Hamburg.
Walter then signed for Hull with the club having finished seventh last term but surprisingly sacked Liam Rosenior for his style of play.

That has backfired against their Turkish owners with Hull now looking for a second coach of the campaign.
