Huddersfield Town host Liverpool in the Saturday evening game at the John Smith’s Stadium.

David Wagner’s side are winless so far, lie in the relegation zone on three points and are yet to score at home this season.

Liverpool, after their seven-match 100 per cent winning start, have now not won in four matches across all competitions, and Jurgen Klopp will want to get back to winning ways as his side go into the weekend level on points with Manchester City and Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

What time does it start?

Huddersfield Town vs Liverpool kicks off at 5:30pm (BST).

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on BT Sport from 5:00pm (BST).

BT Sport subscribers can also stream the match via the BT Sport app.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

It’s a big game for…

David Wagner: Although Huddersfield won’t be expected to take anything from this game, Terriers fans will expect a decent showing. Languishing in 18th position on three points, winless, Wagner needs his team to find some form – and fast. A good showing against Liverpool would be a start.

Best stat…

7: Huddersfield have not scored against Liverpool in their last seven competitive games, since a 1-1 draw at Anfield in April 1962.

Player to watch…

Daniel Sturridge: With one, if not both, of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane being unable for this match due to injury, it’s likely the in-form Daniel Sturridge will come back into the starting XI. The 29-year-old, who was exiled on loan at West Brom at the back-end of last season, has scored crucial goals against PSG and Chelsea (which was voted September’s goal of the month), and has unexpectedly forced himself back into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
