How Eastern Michigan kicked off from the opposing 20

Eastern Michigan managed to accomplish something I’m not sure many have ever seen in college football — a kickoff from the opposing 20-yard line.

That right, thanks to three personal foul penalties on Charlotte following an Eastern Michigan touchdown, the Eagles kickoff was moved from the 35-yard line to the 49ers 20.

Wait a second, three personal fouls on one play? Really Charlotte? Really?

Not sure you ever plan for something like this, but Eastern Michigan made the right call and opted to go for the onside kick because what was the worst that could have happened?

Sadly, the onside kick failed, but the play itself might be one of the most memorable — simply because of its uniqueness — ever in college football.
