Hot Stove Digest: What's the White Sox asking price for Jose Quintana?

Welcome to The Stew’s Hot Stove Digest, our daily rundown of MLB news, rumors and gossip for Hot Stove season. Here you’ll find a quick recap of all the day’s action and other fun stuff from around the internet that we think is worth your time.

ASKING PRICE: The Chicago White Sox fire sale is expected to continue all winter, and the expectation now is that left-handed starter Jose Quintana will be the next player moved.

The Houston Astros are reportedly making the strongest push for Quintana, but the White Sox asking price is not surprisingly high after landing big returns for Chris Sale and Adam Eaton. One report has Chicago asking Houston for big-league right-hander Joe Musgrove and two prospects, right-hander Francis Martes and outfielder Kyle Tucker, which would be another significant haul. That’s something for other teams to ponder as they focus in on pitching help. [@pgammo]
