Home Town star Erin Napier is full of surprises! Of course, fans of the show know how skilled Erin is when it comes to interior design, but there is a hidden talent of hers that many may not know about: she's an incredible musician.

Nearly four years ago, Erin briefly shared with fans on Instagram that she started playing the guitar and singing at a coffee shop when she was a teenager to earn money. However, her interest in sharing her gift so publicly quickly lessened after high school.

"When I was 14, I started playing music at the coffee house in downtown Laurel to earn my money. I did that until I graduated high school, when my interests in art just kind of edged out my interest in music, and @scotsman.co still mourns it, always asking me to sing him a song. It just wasn't where my heart was anymore. It's been so long since I played. At least a year," Erin shared in June 2016, along with a lovely video of herself singing You Are My Sunshine.

Erin's followers flooded her post with positive words of encouragement, and since then, she's shared more and more of her talent with us.

Most recently, Erin posted a video singing Something to Love by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit in April 2020. She admitted it had been a long time since she picked up the guitar, but that her daughter Helen loved this particular song. "I’ve not picked up my guitar in so long, but Helen loves this one and it would do y’all good to know it too. I’m rusty, forgetting chords, but it still feels good to sing a song," she wrote.

Here's hoping Erin continues to share her talents, including her singing, with the world.
