Home and Away's Marilyn makes concerning discoveries

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers gets a nasty surprise on UK screens next week, as she digs up some damning information about her new business venture.

Marilyn feels trapped and powerless as she realises that beauty firm Stunning Organics is corrupt – and there's no easy way to stand down as one of their brand ambassadors.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Marilyn tries out a face mask on her friend Roo Stewart. The product causes Roo to have a terrible reaction and she's rushed to hospital as a precaution.

Marilyn initially refuses to admit that Stunning Organics are at fault for Roo's problems.

Roo is stunned by Marilyn's stance, especially when she refuses to put out a public warning to prevent further instances.

As the Surf Club recently bought Stunning Organics' sunscreen range and put it on sale, Alf Stewart steps in to recall the product.

John Palmer also gets in on the act by patrolling the Surf Club with a megaphone, reminding everyone not to use the sunscreen. Marilyn is mortified as she sees this as a marketing nightmare.

Roo takes matters into her own hands by doing some detective work over Stunning Organics. She finds various evidence of unscrupulous corporate conduct at the company, which has a long history of exploiting workers and customers.

Marilyn finally backs down and decides that it's time to terminate her contract with Stunning Organics.

Sadly for Marilyn, she soon realises that it won't be so simple when the company refuses to cancel her contract, pointing out that she agreed to a one-year lock-in period.

Marilyn consults a lawyer to see if there are any handy get-out clauses that she can exploit, but she's warned in no uncertain terms that she risks being sued if she doesn't stick to the terms of the contract.

Alf advises Marilyn that she needs to play dirty to get the upper hand over these corporate villains, but does she have what it takes to take them on?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
