Holiday rollback: Gas prices expected to drop over long weekend

If you’re hitting the road this Victoria Day weekend, you may be in luck as prices at the pump are expected to drop.
According to CTV News, the cost of gas should fall across the country before the holiday because of elevated supply and lower demand.
Dan McTeague, a senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy.com, told CTV News on Friday that some gas stations could slash their operating margins by 10 cents, which should result in a price drop between Saturday and Monday.

McTeague added that drivers should hold off until Friday night or Saturday, as that’s when the prices should fall.
However, according to the British Columbia Automobile Association, the cost of gas is expected to rise in B.C.
Drivers can search the prices at their closest pumps at the GasBuddy.com website.
