'The High Note': Tracee Ellis Ross and Eddie Izzard star in exclusive new clip

Nisha Gunatra’s music drama The High Note unfortunately skipped UK cinemas due to the coronavirus pandemic, going straight to PVOD in May.

Now the film is out on DVD and Blu-ray and you won’t want to miss this moving film which stars Tracee Ellis Ross as a legendary R&B singer, who yearns the reinvigorate her career with new music.

We’ve got a brand new clip from the film to celebrate its home entertainment release, which features Ross alongside UK comic Eddie Izzard as fellow musician Dan Deakins, and Dakota Johnson as Maggie, her PA and aspiring producer.

Here’s the synopsis: Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie (Dakota Johnson) is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer.
