Hibs 1-3 Celtic: What the managers said

Hibs manager Grant Scott

“We've gradually been finding our way and fighting together and working really hard but there are still areas of the game where we need to do a bit better if we're honest with ourselves - and that might include myself and the staff.

"We've just got to look at a difficult day and take what we can; take the learnings from it and move on.”

“We had to try and change a few things when we're going in at half-time 3-1 down.

"We were just trying to change the momentum, swing something in our favour that we could latch onto and push on. But it wasn't to be. That's disappointing, but I can't fault the players' efforts."

Celtic manager Elena Sadiku

“I said it to the girls, we have been playing three games in one week, and we managed to get three victories.

“Obviously we had to switch some players, and I think everybody has been doing their job as good as possible.

"Obviously Hibs are a good team, but I feel like watching back the game, we look like a solid team.

“We also looked comfortable with the ball and we looked good when we defend.

"Everything we do, we do it as a team. Just the energy out there was brilliant.’

“Of course, we always want to win games and from that, we also want to perform well because we know if we do, it’s going to be hard to beat us.

“We know that if we perform like we did, we are going to win.”
