Hibernian head coach Nick Montgomery: "It's hard to explain. "I am really proud of the boys effort, I thought we were outstanding tonight and it's really unfortunate.
"We were the better team and we deserved to win that game of football, but it wasn't meant to be. I'm really disappointed for the boys."
On the first penalty: "I need to see it again, but, if two players going for the ball, if that happens in the middle of the park I think that is stopped for a bounce ball, there is no malice in it, he's so quick to give the penalty. You don't go to win a ball in the air if you don't think you can win it. It's two committed players."
On the second penalty, and Martin Boyle's non-penalty: "I don't think anyone saw it in the stand, the referee is told to look at the monitor.
"I've seen Martin Boyle's penalty, he's been caught on his quads, if he comes to the monitor for that one, I'm certain he gives a penalty.
"IT's a tough job being a referee, but if you look at all of them in a game, there will be about 20 penalties a game".
