You wake up and it hits you—you really need a Whopper. You're just craving that flame-grilled beef, soft sesame seed bun, juicy tomato, crunchy lettuce, creamy mayo, pickles, and smear of ketchup. The only thing that can kick it is a trip to Burger King, but a glance at the clock reveals it's only 8 a.m. Will you even be able to order one if you drive over there, right this very second?

So, what time does Burger King start serving lunch?

If you want to know for sure that you can get a Whopper, you've got a pretty chance of scoring one if you head over to your local franchise after 10:30 a.m. That's when the breakfast menu items officially stop being served, and the restaurant switches over to the daytime menu. On top of the Whopper, you can get all your BK burger classics like the Single Quarter Pounder, the Bacon King, the Bacon Double Cheeseburger, and more, plus the chicken fries, chicken nuggets, regular fries, and the Ch'King sandwich.

But can I get a Whopper in the early morning hours?

Probably not. Most places won't switch to the daytime menu (with the Whopper, Quarter Pounder, Ch'King sandwich etc.) until 10:30 a.m. But you can order all those delicious menu items all through the day and night until 6 a.m. the following day when they switch back to the breakfast menu!

Say I'm craving breakfast at night. Does Burger King ever serve breakfast all day?

Most likely, no. If you check the Burger King website, it says that the breakfast items are only available from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This is for both ordering in-store, through the drive-thru, and via delivery. But because most Burger Kings are privately owned franchises, they may vary a bit on those hours. To double confirm your Double Croissan'wich will be available when you want it, give your local BK a call.
