Goodbye, Big League Stew. Hello, Yahoo Sports MLB

A new chapter in Yahoo Sports’ coverage of Major League Baseball starts today.

After 10 years, we’re saying goodbye to the Big League Stew blog. But fear not, all the stories and videos you’ve come to love and share with your friends will now be rolled up into a new bigger umbrella: Yahoo Sports MLB.

The Big League Stew writers aren’t going anywhere either. Mike Oz, Chris Cwik, Mark Townsend and Liz Roscher will still be writing about baseball under the Yahoo Sports MLB moniker, as will other Yahoo Sports writers, some of whom you’ve already seen contributing to Big League Stew in the past few months. They’ll all join columnists Jeff Passan and Tim Brown under the Yahoo Sports MLB brand.

Big League Stew brought a fun vibe to the baseball blogosphere back when Kevin Kaduk started it in 2008, but our sphere has expanded and grown over the years. And it will keep growing from here on out. With that, we’re excited to announce the following:

• The new Yahoo Sports MLB podcast, which launches Tuesday with hosts Jeff Passan, Tim Brown and Mike Oz. New episodes will be released each Tuesday. The debut episode features an in-depth interview with Albert Pujols. Be sure to subscribe on Apple Podcasts.

• We’re taking the @YahooSportsMLB brand over to Instagram too. So add us to your follows over there and we’ll promise to keep the same vibe going.

We’ve loved Big League Stew and we appreciate the readers who have been a part of our community for 10 years strong. And now we’re excited to see what comes next with Yahoo Sports MLB.
