Golden Knights' James Neal hails 'amazing' Vegas crowd

The Vegas Golden Knights could soon advance to the Stanley Cup Final — and very well lift the damn thing shortly thereafter — and most people will still be left wondering how it was all possible.

But we can say with certainty after two visits to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the Western Conference Final that the unruly crowd inside the NHL’s newest barn is definitely playing a role in their success.

James Neal hailed the efforts of the faithful in Vegas after the Golden Knights’ 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night.

“They are relentless. The passion they bring is special. It’s a really cool place to play.”

One more win, and those fans will be rewarded with Western Conference Final championship banner, and at least two more home dates in the Stanley Cup Final.
