Golden Chick coming to this busy street in far north Fort Worth. Here’s when it plans to open

A Golden Chick restaurant is coming to North Beach Street just north of North Tarrant Parkway in far north Fort Worth.

The Richardson-based fast-food chain expects to complete work on the location by September, according state records. The location at 8677 N. Beach St. is just two doors down from a Chicken Express, at 8657 N. Beach St.

The first restaurant in the chain opened in 1967 in San Marcos as Golden Fried Chicken and now has more than 200 locations. The restaurants were renamed in 1993.
