Georgia's Terry Godwin makes incredible Beckham-like one-handed TD catch (Video)

There aren’t many times when you can justifiably compare a catch to the one Odell Beckham of the New York Giants made a few years back, but a grab from Georgia’s Terry Godwin certainly can.

With his team trailing Notre Dame 10-3 late in the first half, Georgia QB Jake Fromm looked Godwin’s way in the end zone on third and goal. Godwin did this:

The play was initially ruled an incomplete pass, but after a review, it was correctly ruled a touchdown.

Godwin showed off his leaping ability with Notre Dame’s Julian Love right in his face. He corralled the ball after an initial bobble with just one hand and established possession as he fell to the turf. All the while, Godwin had the presence of mind to tap one foot down inbounds.

Incredible play.

The Fromm-to-Godwin connection tied the game at 10-10 in South Bend. Georgia went on to win 20-19.
