Georgia Tech leading rusher Marcus Marshall seeks transfer

Georgia Tech running back Marcus Marshall announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he plans to transfer.

Marshall, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C., was Georgia Tech’s leading rusher each of the last two seasons. He had 96 carries for 624 yards and two touchdowns this season and had 86 carries for 654 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman in 2015.

Marshall will not participate in the Yellow Jackets’ bowl game.
