AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca will have to think about how to line up the attack against Genoa given the shortage of numbers in the department.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport report, injuries are worrying Fonseca, starting with Ruben Loftus Cheek. The midfielder has suffered a muscle issue and the goal is to have him back on the 29th against Roma or in Riyadh, for the Supercoppa Italiana.

Alvaro Morata however has not suffered a major adductor problem. If the derby or a final were scheduled for Sunday, the Spaniard could be available by risking things a bit, but the orientation is to be more cautious.

Even if Morata would like to be there against Genoa in the 125th anniversary game, it will be Tammy Abraham in his place. It is difficult to imagine he will play two up front even with Christian Pulisic out, so Francesco Camarda should remain on the bench from minute one.

The attack will be completed by Samuel Chukwueze on the right and Rafael Leao on the left. Noah Okafor’s recovery is possible, having missed the game in midweek due to some troublesome lower back pain.

To fill the bench some Milan Futuro players are on alert. If Kevin Zeroli is still not fit then Silvano Vos could be called up, as could Alex Jimenez and/or Davide Bartesaghi.
