The LA Galaxy have signed three players to new contracts ahead of the 2013 MLS season. Midfielders Mike Magee and Colin Clark, along with goalkeeper Brian Perk, will all be with the two-time defending MLS Cup champions in 2013 as the club's roster takes shape heading into the preseason. Magee played a major part in the Galaxy's run through the 2012 playoffs, scoring three times to help propel the team to a second straight league crown. Entering his 11th MLS season, Magee has eight goals in 17 career playoff games and has played in three of the last four MLS Cup finals.
Perk appeared in seven games for the Galaxy in 2012, the most in his career, and should provide cover for newly-signed veteran Carlo Cudicini while giving Bruce Arena an alternative in goal during CONCACAF Champions League play. Perk played in three CCL matches this past year.
Clark, a seven-year MLS veteran who has spent time with Colorado and Houston, was selected by the club in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Process last month.
