Friday Night Lights: How to follow along, scores from Centre County football teams
Week 2 of Centre County’s high school football season is here, and after opening the season on the road, all local teams are on their home fields Friday night.
Here’s a look at the games:
Altoona at State College, 7 p.m. Friday
Chestnut Ridge at Bellefonte, 7 p.m. Friday
Bedford at Penns Valley, 7 p.m. Friday
Central Cambria at Bald Eagle Area, 7 p.m. Friday
Penn Cambria at Philipsburg-Osceola, 7 p.m. Friday
Last week, three of Centre County’s teams had wins. State College defeated Gateway, 55-14, Philipsburg-Osceola beat Huntingdon, 30-17 and Bellefonte defeated Central, 18-7. Penns Valley lost to Bellwood-Antis, 55-12, on Friday night, and Bishop Guilfoyle shut out Bald Eagle Area on Saturday night, 21-0, in a game that saw quarterback Carson Nagle suffer an injury. Coach Jesse Nagle has not commented publicly on his condition.
