Yahoo Sports Four Performances Stand Out in Card Without Fight of the Night (UFC Fortaleza Bonuses)
The Ultimate Fighting Championship was in Fortaleza, Brazil on Saturday night with their efforts at UFC Fight Night 106. The card produced four Performance of the Night bonuses, but the promotion decided not to hand out one for Fight of the Night.
Kelvin Gastelum, Edson Barboza, Paulo Henrique “Borrachinha” Costa and Michel Prazeres each won Performance of the Night awards, banking $50,000 on top of their fight purses and win bonuses.

Gastelum picked up the biggest win of his career, stopping Vitor Belfort in the very first round of the evening's featured fight. By landing his left hand square on Belfort's chin, Gastelum banked his bonus and stopped his Brazilian opponent in his home country.
Barboza added yet another highlight-reel finish with his stoppage of Beniel Dariush. Known for his laser-sharp striking, Barboza landed a devastating flying knee to end the fight within the distance, earning him extra cash for his knockout win.
Michel Prazeres and Borrachinha both picked up technical knockouts in their contests. Their finishes stood out, especially for Borrachinha, who finished his opponent in just 77 seconds.
