Four people arrested after shooting in Biloxi, police chief says

A Gulfport man and three juveniles were arrested after a Friday shooting in Biloxi, authorities said.

Police arrested 18-year-old Jaquan Ratavin Cooks of Gulfport and three juveniles, according to a news release.

Police responded to several 911 calls after gunshots struck an apartment about 1:54 p.m. on Stennis Drive. Shortly after, police said they stopped a vehicle that a witness reported fled the scene after the shooting.

All four are being charged as adults and have been transported to the Harrison County Detention Center, with bails set at $250,000 each.

An investigation is ongoing.
