Ahcan, who played for the Badgers from 2018-2022, spent the 2023-24 season playing for the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) and the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL). With the Monsters, he scored nine goals and added 10 assists for 19 points in 52 games. In nine games with the Cyclones, he added 11 points.

A product of Savage, Minn., Ahcan played in four seasons for the Badgers, putting up 34 goals and 40 assists for 74 points in 130 career games.

As Ahcan gets set to join Savannah, he could very well spend a short amount of time with the team. Having been a solid depth forward at the AHL level over the past two seasons, it would not be a surprise to see Ahcan stick with an AHL team if he does get called up.
