Former Baylor tight end Tre’Von Armstead was arrested for the second time in less than two weeks Wednesday.

Armstead was arrested Wednesday morning by Waco police regarding an accusation of sexual assault from nearly four years ago. Per the Waco Tribune, the charges were made last week but were sealed until his arrest.

The three charges in the indictment allege Armstead forced a woman to perform various sex acts without her consent on or about April 18, 2013.

Armstead was arrested March 13 in Las Vegas on three charges, including one of domestic battery.

The accusations from 2013 were detailed in an ESPN Outside the Lines report in April of 2016 that detailed a sexual assault accusation vs. Armstead and former teammate Myke Chatman in April of 2013.

A woman, identified as Elizabeth Doe and who said she was raped by the two players in April 2013, filed a lawsuit vs. Baylor in January alleging that 52 sexual assaults were committed by 31 football players from 2011 through 2014.

Chatman is not currently facing any charges, per the Tribune.

The woman, who was a hostess for the school, said in her suit that the school encouraged hostesses — called Baylor Bruins — to have sex with recruits. The suit said the school program was used to “engage in sexual acts with the recruits to help secure the recruits’ commitment to Baylor” and that the school had an “unofficial policy of looking the other way when there was sexual intercourse between the Bruins and football players.”

The OTL report said the school waited two years to investigate the accusation against the two players. Per the report, the woman had bruises, a bite mark and scratches after the alleged incident but didn’t want to press charges at the time. Armstead played the first game of the 2015 season but was suspended for the rest of the season. At the time, Baylor said the suspension was for a violation of team rules.

Two former Baylor players are currently incarcerated for rape while another player has also been indicted. Armstead is the first player to be charged with sexual assault after an independent review detailed the failures Baylor had in dealing with accusations of sexual assault. Former coach Art Briles was fired in May after the report was completed and athletic director Ian McCaw and president Ken Starr resigned.
