Fog brings Brandon Wheat Kings game to a halt

A hockey game marking the Brandon Wheat Kings' 50th anniversary ended early Saturday due to extreme fog.

The Wheat Kings were playing against the Moose Jaw Warriors and celebrating 50 years in the Western Hockey League when the game was suspended Saturday evening.

The Wheat Kings dubbed Saturday's incident as #FogBowl2016 on Twitter.

The Western Hockey League said the the remainder of the game will be finished sometime in the near future.

The Warriors were leading with a score of 2-1 in the second period when the when the game was called off.
