Only one event can captivate the soccer world without a single ball being kicked: transfer deadline day. The bi-annual festival of unsubstantiated rumors, obnoxious spending and disappointed Arsenal fans is upon us once again, as the summer window is set to slam shut on Wednesday.

This summer, the Premier League has broken its own lofty spending record and it looks as if several clubs have business left to do.
