In one of the finest cases of Committing to the Bit that we've seen in quite some time, comedian Jake Adams has pulled off a brilliant travel challenge: hitting a golf ball in all 50 states in 30 days.
Via Golf Digest, the story: Adams began his journey on April 1 by launching a golf ball toward the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles. (Clearly, he didn't hit the same golf ball in all 50 states.) From there, he was off, compiling his state-by-state journey for his Instagram page and wrapping it all up with this state-by-state travelogue:
"Time for a nap," Adams wrote. "Thank you to everyone who supported this wild life choice. Will only build from here & will work towards giving back to charities for any future adventures :)"
You'll see a few notable landmarks in the course of that video, including Mount Rushmore:
The Gulf Coast of Mississippi:
The snowy beauty of Colorado:
And even a little competition in West Virginia:
Bravo, dude. That's quite the accomplishment. Though some of those second shots look like they're going to be tough par saves.
