FC Dallas agrees to terms with Keel and Woodberry

FC Dallas has added two more names to its 2013 roster, agreeing terms with defenders Stephen Keel and London Woodberry.

The 29-year-old Keel signed with local club Colorado in 2005, but was largely a reserve in his four seasons with the Rapids. Moving to the now-defunct USL First Division, he featured more prominently with the Portland Timbers, with whom he has a solid two-year stint, earning him another MLS look, this time with the New York Red Bulls. After two seasons as a backup defender, New York declined his option, allowing Dallas to acquire his rights in the expansion draft.

Woodberry, a 21-year-old from McKinney, Texas, was given NSCAA third-team All-American honors for his senior year at the University of Maryland. He is Dallas' ninth homegrown player.
