Green will make his starting debut against Mountain West foe San Diego State. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Albertsons Stadium.
The Broncos are coming off a disappointing 27-10 loss at UTEP that resulted in the firing of offensive coordinator Tim Plough and was followed by Bachmeier’s departure.
